Raging Capital seeks to hire a full-time investment analyst.
This individual should be diligent, passionate about investing, and intellectually curious. They should be a critical thinker with an ability to solve complex problems. This individual should also be Excel-proficient with experience in financial modeling and have a comprehensive knowledge of core accounting principles. Finally, it is important that this person be a strong writer and oral communicator.
Responsibilities will include: financial analysis and modeling; researching companies and industries to support and enhance our internal research efforts; reading and analyzing SEC filings, conference call transcripts, and other sources; speaking by phone or in-person with individuals related to potential investments; tracking, compiling, and presenting various streams of data; and performance of creative due diligence.
This individual will work in a generalist role directly with one (or more) of Raging Capital’s Managing Partners, as well as other members of the investment team.

2) Highlight a company that you believe is deeply misunderstood by investors and explain why.
3) Highlight a corporate management team that is underappreciated from a capital allocation or entrepreneurial perspective.
